Does anyone else know of the info that talks about the poisonousness of table salt versus natural sea salt?
Common table salt is purified and refined leaving only sodium and chloride. This refining process includes washing or boiling the salt, adding many strong chemicals, extreme heat and much more. After the refining process this salt is then mixed with iodine, bleaching agents and anti-caking agents to create the purely white free flowing product found in one’s local food store. When processed salt is made, the factories use cementlined beds, efflorescence from this cement pollutes the processed salt.
Common salt goes though such heavy processing, that it turns into a devitalized deleterious and potentially toxic substance. The term “sea salt” has lost its meaning. All salt on this planet originally came from the sea. More than three quarters of this salt though has not seen the sea for billions of years! Almost all salts found in the health food store which boast being a “sea salt” are not what they seem to be. These health food store bought sea salts are actually very similar to refined salt. Don’t let the word “sea salt” fool you into thinking it is better than other processed salts.
The salt that most N.D.’s, naturopaths, and naturalists will recommend is Celtic Sea Salt. Celtic Sea Salt is harvested near the coast of Northwestern France.
