How to lessen shedding on my husky dog?
What is the best way to lessen the shedding on my husky cross indoor dog? I use the furminator which is great but what other things can I do?
Honestly the furminator is my best advice. It takes a really long time, but if you brush and brush and brush with it, in my experience it does work. They just don’t tell you that it takes forever in the advertisements 
Once you give your dog a really good workover, 15 minute maintenance a few days a week will keep him or her pretty shed-free.
If that just isn’t working for you, consider nutrition. You can upgrade his or her food quality (check out www.dogfoodadvisor.com for some suggestions on quality food), or try adding a touch of fish oil to get extra omega-3s in.
In my experience, “de-shedding” shampoos really don’t do much. They’re rich in Omega-3s, but any quality shampoo should be just as good.
